Optical dust counter (conimeter) SOM-16
The purpose
Dust counter SOM-16 is meant for measuring mass concentration of dust and optical density in the flue gases of fuel-burning plants operated on any type of fuel.
Advantages
The device is supplied with a blower for removing dust from lenses.
The work of electric filters does not affect the precision of measurements.

The working principle
The work of the device is based on measuring the losses of optical power of LED radiation passing through a gas duct. The power losses are caused by absorption and dissipation of light by solid matter particles and depend on dust concentration.
The dust counter SOM-16 has two modifications: SOM-16.D and SOM-16.M
